Camera backpacks nowadays falls under 2 categories: the "gear bag" for commercial photographers or "tech bag" for digital nomads & urban commuters. Others can always tell whether your backpack carries digital gear, and therefore it is hard to be inconspicuous when travelling overseas carrying these "traditional" camera backpacks.
To better accommodate the needs of travelling creators, WOTANCRAFT launched the NOMAD at the end of 2019, a “camera backpack that doesn’t look like one” with no trace of accessible pockets or zippers... at first glance.
Whether you are a Youtuber, professional photographer, or just a backpacker with one camera, the NOMAD will fit all your gear with the expandable interior space from 15 Litres to 25 Litres.

When you walk down the street with the NOMAD, others behind you will not see any zippers or pockets. It looks like a simple rolltop backpack that fits in any scenario: cities, countryside or off the map.
But don’t be fooled by NOMAD’s humble exterior, it’s packed with crucial features for photographers & content creators:

To alleviate the stress of weight carrying, we designed the NOMAD with extended shoulder strap width & shoulder plate extension, so that the NOMAD can firmly “hug” your back, distributing weight onto your body.
In sunny days, NOMAD will keep your back from stifling sweats, thanks to the “air venting web mesh fabric” + “perforated foam” that allows wind to travel freely across your back.

If you are going to a one day hike, or carry close to 10kg of camera gear for your photography assignment, you will definitely need to learn how to carry backpacks with padded waist straps.
WOTANCRAFT have also prepared the optional “padded waist belt” that can be mounted onto the NOMAD, transferring 80% of the backpack weight to your waist, freeing your shoulders of the burden during long walks, drastically reducing stress on the upper body.
